Zimbabwe’s 46th Independence Day Commemoration in 2026 will be hosted at Maphisa Open Space in Matobo District, Matabeleland South Province. The event honors the legacy of the late national hero Dr. Joshua Nkomo and is accompanied by major infrastructure upgrades, community outreach, and the National Children’s Party.
