The Labour Administration Division is mandated to promote harmonious industrial relations and decent work by upholding Labour Standards and fostering Social Dialogue. The Department of Labour Administration is responsible with ensuring compliance with labour standards through inspections, mediating disputes, and providing training on labour laws. It also facilitates social dialogue to advance fair and equitable labour practices, registers labour market institutions, conducts research, and promotes workplace productivity in both private and public sectors.<\/p>

Decent work is productive work with dignity for both women and men in conditions of freedom, equity, security, and human dignity. It has four pillars which are;<\/p>

    The International Relations Division <\/b><\/strong><\/p>

    It is mainly responsible for co-ordinating all International Affairs of the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare on employment and labour issues including labour migration as well coordinating all programmes under all related Development Partners Regional Organisations working in Zimbabwe. These include International Labour Organisation (ILO) African Union (AU)\u00a0Southern African Development Community, International Organisation of Migration (IOM) and African Regional Labour Administration Centre ARLAC.<\/p>
